On 19^th October, 2011 in Russian FCS the meeting of the Head of FCS of Russia Mr. Andrey Belyaninov and Managing Director of Customs and Tariffs Office of the Ministry of Finance of Japan Mr. Atzuo Sybota took place.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the subject of bilateral Russian-Japanese customs cooperation in the frames of the World Trade Organization, as well as the questions of networking by preparation and holding of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit in 2012, and the prevention of narcotics and weapon smuggling.

The parties confirmed that they are mutually ready to develop collaboration in all the domains of customs activities between Russia and Japan.
