On December, 16th, 2010 the meeting of the first deputy of head of FCS of Russia Vladimir Malinin with the General director of Royal customs department of Thailand Prasong Puntanet took place.

It is the first official visit of representatives of customs service of the Russian Federation to Thailand.

During the taken place meeting the sides discussed prospects of development of bilateral cooperation, including questions of signing of the intergovernmental Russian-Thai cooperation agreement in customs affairs, cooperation in the field of an exchange of the statistical data of mutual trade and information interchange about customs cost of the goods and also questions of the organization of preliminary information interchange on the goods and the vehicles moved between Russia and Thailand.
